Dance Theatre Collective of Southern California is a 501C3 Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation organized to create, unite, support, and enrich the community through an ongoing exchange among professional artists, students, performers, and audiences. This is accomplished through community dance performances, festivals, lecture/demonstration series, showcases, dance camps, master classes, professional dance theatre symposia events, and other educational dance theatre activities dedicated to the development of dance and theatrical culture throughout the community.
Avocado Dance Theatre is a community-based modern dance company organized to give pre-professional dancers (ages 14 – adult) experience in modern dance, otherwise not readily available to them, free of charge. Public performances throughout the year, in a variety of venues, and regional tours, choreographed by local professionals and guest artists is the heart of this exciting dance project.
